Petrolimex promotes blood donation drive to celebrate 70th anniversary

On June 26, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group’s Youth Union and the Vietnam National Petroleum Trade Union jointly organised a voluntary blood donation programme titled “Pink Petrol Drop – Red Oil Drop” at VCCI Building, No 9 Dao Duy Anh St., Hanoi. The event drew enthusiastic participation from numerous workers, both within and beyond the petroleum sector, successfully collecting 269 units of blood.
The “Giọt Xăng hồng – Giọt Dầu đỏ” (Pink Petrol Drop – Red Oil Drop) blood donation programme is a signature annual social responsibility activity of Petrolimex.
This year's programme is part of a series of events celebrating the Group's 5th Party Congress, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), and leads up to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group.
Voluntary blood donation is not the sole responsibility or duty of any single individual, but rather requires the collective effort of the entire community.
"Pink Petrol Drop – Red Oil Drop" is the active contribution of the collective of Petrolimex staff and employees to the nationwide voluntary blood donation movement. The spirit of "mutual support and compassion" and "community responsibility" continues to be put into action by Petrolimex's younger generation and employees, further enriching the 70-year tradition of Petrolimex's establishment and development.
